WAREHOUSE REPRESENTATIVE

Summary/Objective:

The Warehouse Representative position’s primary role is to pull, pack, and distribute material, tools, equipment, and products with the Purpose Driven Publishers (the “Company”) warehouse. The Warehouse position’s primary goals include ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of all Warehouse job functions.

Essential Functions:

1. Assist with loading and unloading trucks, checking in merchandise, matching purchase orders to sales orders, and distributing materials for the Company’s shipping and receiving activities

2. Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and/or requisitions to move, gather, distribute, and/or ship items as necessary

3. Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or other designated areas

4. Sort and place materials and other items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences

5. Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for anyone and everyone in warehouse vicinity

6. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets and/or shelves as appropriate

7. Relocate orders to holding areas and/or shipping areas as appropriate

8. Mark materials with identifying information using appropriate methods

9. Record amounts of materials and other items received or distributed via appropriate computer programs

10. Assist in counting of physical inventory

11. Prepare parcels for mailing

12. Sweep, dust, and mop warehouse; organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times

13. Provide other miscellaneous facilities maintenance support as needed

14. Wear proper safety equipment

15. Set up and take down for local conferences

16. Other duties as assigned

Supervisory Responsibility:

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
