Summary:
- Build electromechanical subassemblies.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IPC-620 standards and be able to perform self-inspections, recognize defects, and follow detailed work instructions and drawings.
- Mechanical and electrical experience on subassemblies, including torque and cable routing, is required to ensure efficient production.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous experience as an Electromechanical Assembler utilizing IPC-620 standards (specifically in cable and wire harness assembly; CCA experience not considered)
- Proficient with IPC-620 standards, including:
- Crimping open and closed barrels
- Coax (BNC’s, Virginia or Mac Panel)
- Soldering
- Solder sleeves
- Daisy chains
- Solder splices
- Able to perform self-inspections and identify acceptable vs. defective work
- Able to follow work instructions and interpret drawings
- Mechanical and electrical experience on subassemblies
- Knowledge of torque requirements, including proper tool setup and usage
- Experience with cable routing, including bend radius, service loops, and wire dressing
- Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
