Freight/Operations and Accounting
Codra Enterprises, Inc. (www.codra.com) is looking for a professional, motivated, and all-around freight/operations coordinator and accountant to join our growing and fast-paced company located in Orange County, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Obtain and negotiate freight quotes with freight forwarders
- Arrange freight shipments and track transit schedule
- Monitor tariff/duty fees, codes and rates
- Manage shipping and custom clearance documents
- Prepare commercial invoices and customs invoices
- Enter purchase orders and vendor invoices in accounting system
- Perform accounts receivable billing
Secondary Responsibilities:
- Assist with warehousing operations, inventory, receiving and shipping
- Be proficient with ERP software and operations
- Provide support for IT, internet, and emergency plans
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree, junior college or equivalent
- Few years of related work/operation/accounting experience
- Knowledge of the freight industry is a plus
- Detail oriented, organized, accurate, and punctual
- Must be able to multi-task and track multiple projects
- MS Office and/or Google Suite (excellent spreadsheet skills a plus)
- Possesses professional attitude with collaboration and teamwork skills
- Self-starter who shows initiative, is resilient, and takes responsibility
- Excellent communication skills
Other Details:
- Full time position
- Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm
