Who We Are

Founded upon the truths of three verses of Scripture, each found in chapter three verse sixteen, Three Sixteen Publishing exists to equip the Church with Christ-honoring biblical resources.

JOHN 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (LSB)

COLOSSIANS 3:16 – Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with gratefulness in your hearts to God. (LSB)

2 TIMOTHY 3:16 – All Scripture is God-breathed and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness. (LSB)

Our Story 

Beginnings: Green Egg Media

In 2011, our president came across a captivating 10-volume comic of the Bible, which reminded him of a picture Bible he had as a child. He remembered how God had used it to spark in him a love for God’s Word and desired the same for others. So, obtaining the rights to translate the Power Bible (originally published in Korean) into English, Green Egg Media was born with the mission of publishing solid Christian children’s resources. 

Three Sixteen Publishing & Steadfast Bibles

In 2017, Pastor John MacArthur expressed his idea for a special Bible project—the perfect preaching Bible. With over 40 years of experience in Bible design and manufacturing, our staff eagerly worked with Pastor John on bringing his design to life. Less than a year later, the original Preacher's Bible in the NASB ‘95 was released and given to all the pastors at the 2017 Shepherds’ Conference in partnership with Grace to You. 

Following this new resource, Green Egg Media was restructured as Three Sixteen Publishing with four divisions, which currently include:

• Steadfast Bibles: Publishing quality editions of the NASB ‘95 and the LSB
• Green Egg Media: Publishing solid Christian children’s resources
• Bella Scriptura: Publishing biblically rich and beautiful stationery goods and gifts
• Three Sixteen Books: Publishing biblically faithful Christian titles

The Legacy Standard Bible

In February 2020, Three Sixteen Publishing met with Pastor John MacArthur and leaders from The Lockman Foundation and the John MacArthur Charitable Trust to explore the idea of an update to the NASB ‘95. The vision was twofold: update some of the language of the NASB, while preserving the accuracy and trustworthiness of the translation for generations to come. The Legacy Standard Bible was the fruit of this meeting. 

2021 marked two historic publications for the LSB. First, the LSB New Testament with Psalms and Proverbs was released in February, and then the complete text of the Legacy Standard Bible (the LSB Handy Size - First Edition) was released later that fall.

Since its publication, ministries around the world have benefited from its scholarship and clarity, with more and more churches making the LSB their translation of choice. Steadfast Bibles also continues to release more editions and resources for the LSB, such as pew Bibles, Children’s Editions, Wide Margin & Journaling Editions, Study Notebooks & Workbooks, Large & Giant Print Reference editions, Compact & Portable editions, Study Bibles, Daily Reading Bibles, and innovative Bible cases (Bible Armor). Gospel Partnerships

The Lord has also blessed our team with a number of fruitful Gospel partnerships: 

• 2023: Three Sixteen Publishing is able to meet with Susan J. Heck of With the Master Ministries and soon becomes the publisher of all her print resources. 
• March 2024: The Legacy Bible Foundation (LBF) is established with the mission to publish, print, and freely distribute Bibles, books, and Christian resources. The goal of LBF is to partner with trustworthy ministries in order to provide free biblical resources throughout the English speaking world. Through the generous donations of ministry partners, to date, we have been able to give away over 50,000 Bibles in the US, UK, Canada, Zambia, Australia, and other parts of the world. 
• Early 2024: Three Sixteen Publishing is honored to partner with the Christian ministry Answers in Genesis to produce a special evangelistic edition of the LSB. 
• November 2024: Produced by Thomas Nelson and with special edition bindings designed by Steadfast Bibles, the long-anticipated LSB MacArthur Study Bible is published. 
• November 2024: Manger in Danger, a Christian family tradition celebrating the birth of Christ, is released to help families focus on the Gospel message and point people to the real reason for celebrating Christmas.
• We are grateful to be able to commend and carry books from like-minded publishers and ministries like G3 Ministries, Founders Ministries, Biblical Eldership Resources, and more.
