Overview
As a pack-out associate, you will play a crucial role in helping homeowners recover from fire and
flood damage. You will be responsible for safely packing, inventorying, and sometimes
transporting personal property and belongings from affected homes to a secure facility for
cleaning, restoration, and storage. You'll work closely with restoration teams to ensure the
property is handled with care and efficiently restored to it's condition before loss.
Responsibilities
-Carefully inventory, pack, and label items from fire and flood damaged homes.
-Use specialized packing materials to protect fragile, valuable, or delicate items.
-Assist with cleaning and restoring items as needed.
-Work closely with coordinators to ensure adjusters and homeowners are communicated with.
-Follow safety protocols and guidelines when working in hazardous or damaged environments.
-Assist with the return and unpacking of restored items to the homes once restoration is
complete.
Requirements
-Reliable means of transportation to job sites.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks including but not limited to climbing
stairs.
-Experienced in moving, packing/handling, and cleaning advantageous.
-Attention to detail and organizational skills.
-Ability to work in a team while maintaining professional attitude and appearance.
-Comfortable working in environments with potential exposure to fire, smoke, and water
damage.
-Pass background check required by insurance carriers
